Southern Galactic Telescope Hosting Australia - Rates

Rates as of January 2009

Southern Galactic Telescope Hosting Australia now operates under our Co-Operative Operations Structure as part of our planned business strategy.

Effectively, this new policy means that the more systems we host, the lower all hosting fees become as these savings are shared between all our customers across the board. We believe this is a first of its kind in the Remote Telescope Hosting industry.

Our New Rates Schedule is effective from 1st January 2009. We will soon be commencing Stage 2 of our site development at Mount Spriggina in the Northern Flinders Ranges and have allocated proportional funding towards SG Site 1 and SG Site 2 in order to pass on these new lower costs to our current and future customers. Allotments are limited, so with our New Rebate Below there has never been a better time to have your own system hosted by us in Australia.

This particular facility is the most secure of its kind in Australia and rated to 200 Kph wind tolerances. By coming to SG Site 1 with your own partnership of 2 or more, your ongoing costs become even more attractive and affordable for your group. If you are looking for something to house your 16-30 inch system with an added One Year Rent Free benefit, then perhaps our individual rolloff observatories may be better suited to your needs. Constructed to Australian Building Standards from treated hardwood and fully cladded in Colorbond steel, these units are an ideal choice for larger systems. The user controlled roof adds extra flexibility for when you want to image and these units are also rated to 200 Kph. Naturally, they are fully insulated, dustproofed and ABS Certified in order to protect your valuable investment. No shortcuts here..

For the worlds most demanding imagers and researchers wanting the Prime Location available within Australia, Mount Spriggina will meet all neccessary requirements for photometric nights, sky seeing quality, transparency and stable laminar airflow consistancy. Indeed, it was these factors that originally prompted the Australian National Telescope Facility to seriously consider this site however, it was too remote at the time. How times have changed. There is no other site better located on the Australian mainland for astrophotography than Mount Spriggina.....None. Visit our Remote Page for further details regarding this site. Your optical system will be housed in an all steel fully automated rolloff facility with extra insulation and dustproofing as standard. These units will be built to a higher standard than any of our other existing facilities. The goal here is for long term reliability under extreme Australian outback conditions.

Please Note: Due to the sites extreme remoteness, only proven remote imaging systems such as Paramount ME or Astrophysics will be accepted for positions at Mount Spriggina.
